Supply & Logistics Management

Our Approach

Having an integrated approach including the evolution of the constraints in term of  logistics and  supply chain, strengtheneing the position of the department in the project cycle and activities implementation. Our strategy is to prioritize collaboration and coordination across all stages of the logistics process, from assessment to implementation, to achieve impactful results. 

 

To cover our vision, we based our approach on five main axes.

1. ASSESSMENTS

Conducting through assessments of existing logistics processes, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement. Our analysis are tailored to the unique needs and challenges of each organization/donors requirement, providing valuable insights to build strategic decision-making.​​

  • Analysis of logistics/supply chain department:  Strategy alignment ; Technical competency ; HR set up

  • Evaluation of the performance of the logistics/supply chain department: Donor standards ; internal requirement (structural KPI)

 

The results of this axis will be a report setting out the nodal points identified with suggestions and recommendations of mitigation measures.

2. STRATEGY

Based on our assessments, we develop customized strategies to streamline logistics operations and enhance overall performance. Our work will be empowered by years of expertise and best practices from different panels of INGO. Our understanding of the new constraints (contexts / donors requirement / evolution /...) will facilitate the identification of your needs and will ensure an alignment of the strategy with the organizational goal and objectives:

  • Defining Supply Strategy at different level: Local, National, Regional, HQ

  • Defining strategy adapted to different INGOs expertise and needs

As result we can orient an integrated strategy:  

  • Priority of the supply strategy by intervention sector (WASH / FSL / MHPSS /…)

  • Focus on intervention deployment : Transport optimisation (customs clearance, incoterms management)

  • Strategy adapted to new donors requirement

  • Strategy tailored and mastered by the INGO 

3. TRAINING & COACHING

Our approach is to invest in staff’s capacity through comprehensive training and coaching programs. Knowledge and skills are key points in our supply chain and logistics vision. From frontline staff to senior management, we provide tailored training solutions to empower individuals and drive organizational success.

 

Building capacity and understanding of procedures will strengthen the belonging and in fine the nationalization of position (reducing the expatriate footprint).

 

  • Team training on specific topics :  Strategy drafting and implementation, Technical, Tools  ...

  • Organization/management of workshop 

  • Personal coaching / Nationalization

 

As a result we build competency and technicity of the supply chain and logistics department that will  fit with the requirement and specificities of each structures. Creating a multi plural department that can adapt to any evolution.

4. TOOLS

We leverage cutting-edge tools to optimize logistics operations and enhance decision-making processes. From inventory management systems to data analytics , we provide access to tools that enable monitoring, analysis, and optimization of logistics activities. Having the knowledge of different INGOs and contexts  provides us a 360 vision of different types of tools (digitalize / excel / ERP …) and allow us to identify the most fitted requirement for the INGO. 

 

  • Creation of tool(s) 

  • Gap analysis 

  • Implementation of new NGO tools (Fuel Follow-Up, Logistics budget follow up, ERP system...).

 

As result, a better understanding and the capacity to use efficiently the different types of tools.

5. AUDIT

Our approach in terms of compliance is to be able to identify internal requirement and external requirement. In order to, we conduct different types of audits mainly focused on  logistics processes and procedures. Identifying gaps and risks, analyzing inefficiencies and breach in the processes and providing recommendations are our main objectives.

  • Preparation of upcoming audit (donors) 

  • Management of internal audit (INGOs)

  • Recommendation and if needed interview with the auditors (internal or external).
